Abstract

This article presents the foundations, the story and the outputs of a pedagogical experimentation in the 5th year architecture workshop at enau in Tunisia. The “Green Thinking” Studio, as an innovative pedagogical device, experimenting with the implementation of an open workshop-bootcamp on the theme of “eco-construction & socio-environmental entrepreneurship”.
The aim is to introduce students to the posture of Green Thinking through the tools of entrepreneurship by relying on grounded theory and its outputs in the context of sustainable objectives via digital tools and processes.
The objectives of this participatory researchaction experimentation are to initiate new learning postures based on real issues, socioeconomic practices and spatial footprints. Hence the grounded theory approach (Gélineau, 2001; Laberge, 2012, Ben Fatma, 2021). The actual conduct of the experiment (from 13 September 2021 to 16 December 2021) was structured around several exercises and deliverables, using the Learning by Doing method (Dewey, 1967), which enabled the learners to be involved in different metacognitive levels.
