sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials. However, these blocks often suffer from mechanical properties that make them difficult to apply. This article focuses on improving the mechanical performance of BTCs by incorporating natural and recycled reinforcing materials, notably sugarcane bagasse ash, wheat straw, date palm fibers, glass waste and fly ash and others. These additional materials are essential for enhancing the energy efficiency of constructions in addition, they considerably improve mechanical properties.
