waste and industrial byproducts poses a significant threat to the environment and society. To solve this issue, we focused on creating sustainable building insulation solutions using waste from maritime activities and industries. Our research team developed six composite materials using waste such as maritime plastic, and wood processing byproducts. Our goal is to create composites with higher mechanical strength and thermal conductivity to promote circular economy principles in construction, encouraging waste collection and reducing the carbon footprint. This study involves professionals in the construction industry and policymakers and aims to provide practical solutions for sustainable building practices. The study is a Research Report covering the project introduction, materials, preparation of composites, and comparative analysis of mechanical and thermal properties. It provides alternative materials to address the carbon footprint and offers a model for upcycling local surplus to promote sustainable development in the construction industry.
