All submitted abstracts<\/strong> must meet these requirements:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Being edited in one of the following languages: English, Italian or French.<\/li>\n
  • Having the minimum length of 3,000 characters (space included) and up to maximum of 4,000 characters (space included).<\/li>\n
  • Defining the referring sub-topics.<\/li>\n
  • Providing clear proof of the selected sub-topics.<\/li>\n
  • Specifying the typology of the future full paper, selecting among the following: Research\nReport, Project, Review, Short communication.<\/li>\n
  • Being structured according to the following frame: Carried out Methodology; Obtained Results;\nGoals to achieve; Target of interest.<\/li>\n
  • Containing adequate bibliographic references (from 5 to 15 units).<\/li>\n
  • Containing information about the author\/s: Name, Family name, Affiliation, address, e-mail, brief profile of maximum 500 characters (space included).

    <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    All submitted papers <\/b>should:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Refer to the Mediterranean context.<\/li>\n
    • Contain two versions: one written in English and another in the authors\u2019 mother tongue; (when\nwritten in Latin or Greek characters, otherwise only in English).<\/li>\n
    • Support the Journal with a specific payment per each submitted and accepted paper. (IBAN: IT\n28 Q 07601 03400 001013681893 \/ BIC\/SWIFT: BPPIITRRXXX) In particular the registration fee\nis meant of 450 \u20ac for SMC non collaborators; for SMC collaborators \u2013 SMC Association\nmembers, Referee committee members, Editorial Committee members \u2013 the fee for\nsubmitting accepted papers is instead of 350 \u20ac. All these categories of fee include both the\nsubmission, the processing\/publication and the DOI code.<\/li>\n
    • Have the length up to 22,000 characters (space included) including the appendix and references (for each version in both the languages). An extra cost for exceeding text is previewed: 40 \u20ac for each page of 2,000 characters (space included).<\/li>\n
    • Contain maximum 10 pictures (equipped with all the needed publication permissions).<\/li>\n
    • Contain the following information: Title: max 80 characters (spaces included); Sub-title (optional): max 40 characters (spaces included); an Abstract of 1,000 characters (spaces included); n. 5 keywords; Affiliation details, i.e. names and institutional affiliations, including country\/region, of all contributing authors.<\/li>\n
    • Contain bibliographic disciplinary or cultural references (no less than 15 and no more than 20\nunits).<\/li>\n
    • Guarantee that the English version should be suitable to a scientific text.<\/li>\n
    • Being edited according to the Model approved by SMC (Template), which could be downloaded\nby the authors from the SMC platform, after the eventual acceptance by the Referee Board.<\/li>\n
    • In case of reviewers\u2019 comments, demonstrate the adoption of the suggested revisions.<\/li>\n
    • Declare any financing resource of the research to be published.<\/li>\n
    • Being original and without falsification (e.g. inappropriately manipulated photographic images\nor plagiarised text). There is a system placed to detect falsified data either for routine use or\nwhen suspicions are raised.

      Additional information for authors<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • All the articles outcome from the Double Peer Review process are freely available to everybody.<\/li>\n
      • The journal refers to COPE retraction (COPE retraction guidelines: http:\/\/publicationethics.org\/\nfiles\/u661\/Retractions COPE_gline_final_3_Sept_09_2_.pdf)<\/li>\n
      • Submissions from members of the journal\u2019s staff: editorial committee and referee board\nreceive an objective and unbiased evaluation.<\/li>\n
      • The Journal\u2019s Bodies as well as other authors can criticise the articles and the authors\nthemselves can respond.<\/li>\n
      • For any misconduct behaviour it can be referred to the COPE link (https:\/\/publicationethics.org\/).<\/li>\n
      • The authors can refuse one referee included in the published list in the platform (https:\/\/www.sustainablemediterraneanconstruction.eu\/en\/commissione-di-valutazione\/)<\/li>\n
      • The authors can refer to the link for IS (Responsible research publication: international\nstandards for authors - Position statement developed at the 2nd World Conference on\nResearch Integrity, Singapore, July 2010) .<\/li>\n
