The vast number of signs and archaeological sites which dot the territory along the Partenopean Bay make up an exceptional form of patrimony which is both tangible and immaterial. The coast is a rich and complex archaeological panorama. We are dealing here with a web in a network of material examples, which can be viewed in different ways, and which can be revealed as bearers of mitigation processes on a critical scale as well as important developmental factors at various levels. The Herculaneum Archaeological Park, through its most recent initiatives aimed at improving the archaeological area, takes on a particular role. Because of its internal position as regards the Bay and the innovations in the \u2018new\u2019 part of the city, with the medieval nucleus of the city and the 18th century axis of the Vesuvian villas, the park confines with its boundaries that part of the coast where the development strategies are concentrated. Studies being carried out nowadays as regards the interlocking with the Park and through the interpretative critical approach of the restoration, have pointed out the potential existence of a re-evaluation of the area which, if carried out in an integrated way as part of this \u2018web\u2019, could lead to an important highlighting of this area as regards strategies to sustain the coastline and processes which take into account its eco-cultural growth complying with those growth processes contained in the 2030 Agenda and the Convention of Faro.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
